Meet J. Charity Ware

J. Charity Ware is a strategic thinker and self-motivated. In addition to her education and professional work experience, these attributes have positively impacted her success and expertise in project management. Her advanced communication skills and being a team player have garnered a strong network of relationships within various social and business settings.  


Charity serves as President/Ministry Consultant of MinistryUp. Since 2016, she has provided services specializing in leadership development, crisis management, and organizational communication for faith-based ministries. Most recently, MinistryUp has planned, prepared, and executed relief efforts through coordination of donations and volunteers, including three successful deliveries of over 50K pounds of supplies to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, TX, those displaced from Puerto Rico to Ft. Lauderdale, FL by Hurricane Maria and those affected by Hurricane Michael in Panama City, FL.

MinistryUp has also collaborated with multiple non-profit organizations to successfully execute charitable campaigns uniquely focused on the needs of underprivileged youth in Tennessee and Mississippi. These campaigns have delivered over 100 backpacks full of supplies for North Mississippi school-aged children in July 2018 and care packages for the homeless in Memphis, TN. 


Charity’s career encompasses a diverse and broad background in project management, leadership, community services, and administrative support. She is involved in several national and local organizations: Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc., the National Black MBA Association, and the National Baptist Convention of USA., Inc. She is a graduate of Bethel University, where she holds BS degrees in Management and Organizational Development and an MBA in Human Resource Management.
